What we do, and what it costs
Prices below are what we charge for the work itself, quoted before we start. Parts are billed at what we pay for them, with the receipt in your hand. Anything that needs a lift or a machine we don't carry, we'll tell you straight rather than guess at it.
03 The workshop
Twelve years of other people's engines
Alfulani-Technology started as a single toolbox and a motorbike, working out of the Coasta Road market in Old Yundum. The first jobs were batteries and flat tyres for the traders around the market. Word travels faster than any advert in Serekunda, and within a couple of years the calls were coming from Kairaba Avenue, from Westfield, from Serrekunda Market and from the compounds out towards Bijilo.
We stayed mobile on purpose. A workshop means your car sits somewhere for two days waiting for a slot, and most of what goes wrong with a car here doesn't need a lift — it needs someone who knows what they're looking at, standing next to it, with the right tools in the back of the van. That's the whole business.
What we carry: a full socket and spanner set, torque wrenches, a hydraulic jack and axle stands, a code reader for petrol and diesel, a battery tester and charger, brake bleeding kit, a compressor, and the usual consumables — oil, coolant, brake fluid, bulbs, fuses, belts and hoses. If a job needs a machine we don't have, we'll say so on the phone instead of turning up and improvising.
